I’ve been selling on Amazon since about 2022. This last year was my strongest so far, with around $565K in sales.

It was not simple at all. I made a lot of mistakes, had products fail, and worked many late nights. But by sticking with it and learning as I went, I built a six-figure business that once felt impossible.

I don’t think it’s super easy to just copy a product.
You can’t really grab it and sell it exactly the same without some work.

What helped me most was picking products people truly want and that aren’t too hard to compete with, while keeping shipping easy. What did not help was jumping on trendy items and not paying attention to profit. I had 2 or 3 mistakes before I learned that lesson. I’m happy to explain the simple plan I use now if you want to know more.

I’m just curious—how much of what you make do you actually keep as profit?

How much I make depends on the item, but most of the time I keep about 64–71% after paying for ads, shipping, and other costs. It’s not fast money, but it lasts and keeps getting better. If anyone wants, I can show the money breakdown for one product to explain how it works.

I mostly sell my own brand because I like being in charge of the look and the price. I tested wholesale at the start, but building my own brand grew better for me. Both ways have good and bad parts, but this one fit what I wanted more.

I keep about 64–71% of what I make. I also work with 3 helpers who support me.

Some products and services pay better than others when you share links and earn a reward.

That’s a solid beginning. The US usually makes the most money, so think about trying to reach that market too.
