Good day, I'm interested in the wordpress.com website. There, may I set up a website with hosting and a free domain?

Hey, you can register a free blog here, but it will be a wordpress subdomain, such as yourblog.wordpress.com. There will also be some restrictions and advertisements.
You really have no budget? You can get some cheap hosting and domain names.

In a nutshell, no. Investing in a domain and low-cost shared hosting is preferable to looking for a free solution.:)

There are free web hosting options available, but they come with a lot of restrictions.

You can search for "Free Web Hosting" on Google to see if any of them can work for you, but keep in mind that you'll likely need to buy a domain name since most free hosting services don’t provide one.

You can create a free website there, but it will be really hard to make money from it. This kind of site has its place, but it doesn’t relate much to internet marketing.

To answer your question directly: just Google "wordpress.com free."

Yes, it’s just a subdomain.

You can start with that and later buy your own domain. Then, you can transfer your blog to your new domain using a 301 redirect.

If you really want to be a blogger, try joining Medium or VocalMedia instead of WordPress, Blogspot, and other platforms that are tough to get noticed on in Google these days. On Medium and VocalMedia, you can also join their partner programs and earn money from your content.

No. If you want money, you should pay. You must pay for both the domain and the hosting.

Yes, you can create a site here, but it will be a subdomain only.

These days, you can get web hosting and a domain for just a few cents a month, so why settle for free options with limited features?

Great suggestion!

@LucyDigital, it’s true that you can start a free blog on WordPress.com. If you decide to upgrade to their premium hosting plan, keep in mind that it’s more expensive than many similar shared hosting options. However, they handle all the server issues, so you can concentrate on building your blog or website. Just go for it if your budget allows!

With free hosting, you won’t get all the features, like customer support, unlimited bandwidth, and daily backups. So, it’s better to try paid hosting to enjoy the best features.

You can use Amazon AWS cloud servers for free for a year; you just need to pay for the domain.

Avoid free hosting at all costs—it’s not a good choice! It’s much better to pay for reliable hosting. OVH offers yearly plans starting from just €20-35, which is affordable and ensures better quality.

To use your own custom domain with WP.com, you have to get a paid plan. If you're low on cash, you might try Blogger or Google Sites instead.

But keep in mind, these options won't give you the same freedom and features as having your own WordPress website. Investing in your own site is a smart choice for long-term projects.

You can also look into free trials from Azure, AWS, or DigitalOcean to save some money for a few months!

Yes, you can get a free domain and hosting with WordPress, but it will be a subdomain, like yourdomain.wordpress.com.

If you're not ready to spend money on hosting right away, this is a good option. Later on, you can easily switch it to your own domain name.

If you’re just trying things out, free hosting and other options will work for you. But if you want to create your own website, it’s smarter to buy a domain name and get paid hosting.
