Hey MMO user,

I want to know how to avoid LinkedIn account limits. I’ve tried both old and new accounts, but I’m having the same issue. Can anyone share a solution to avoid this?

What’s the problem? What exactly are the limits?

After buying old accounts, when I posted an article, it got restricted. And for the new one, when I tried to change my profile picture, it got restricted too.

Have you been sending many connection requests or sharing content that might seem spammy or offensive?

Make sure to read their policies first so you know what actions might limit your account. If you can share what kind of restrictions you’re facing, you might get more help here in this discussion.

Have you tried warming up those accounts?
Also, if you make big changes, like switching to a new profile picture (of someone else), it could really increase your chance of getting restricted.

They’re asking me to upload my ID.

A lot of people who give advice have never tried LinkedIn. You can't really avoid that. I've worked with all sorts of social media, and the hardest one I've found is LinkedIn. You can just say hi to someone, and your account could get banned.

I didn't try to warm up. But after buying old accounts, I was sent an article.

Once you're asked to verify your identity, the only option is to provide an ID or create a new account if you can't.

Here’s what you can do next time:

Make sure your profile has real, accurate details. Don’t put random stuff that doesn’t seem believable.

Keep it professional—this is a platform for professionals, so avoid using it like other social media. Only post professional content.

Don’t rush to get a lot of connections:

Don’t send too many connection requests.

Start by connecting with 2nd-degree contacts.

Only send requests to active members (you can check their activity).

Send requests to people who are likely to accept, like those who have mentioned LION.

Avoid any suspicious actions.

I believe this is totally correct.

Can’t I change the profile information?

After buying the accounts, you should let them sit for a while, then act like a real user. After that, you can use them however you want. Also, private proxies are necessary.

I went ahead and got the accounts. After I bought them, I checked everything and let them sit for a day. The next day, I logged in again and tried posting something… but then it got hit with a restriction.

Don't try to add a bunch of people all at once. It's better to grow your friends list little by little.

I’ve used LinkedIn a lot over the years, and yeah, I’ve had a few accounts taken down too. Even just looking at profiles or doing searches can get you banned—it’s not only about sending too many requests. Also, I’ve heard that if you make a bunch of accounts under the same domain, and some already got flagged, the others are more likely to get hit too. But don’t worry—you can usually get your account back if you send them the info they ask for.
