Users on MMOLEARN, myself included, have been sharing and discussing these matters for the past year. It has become second nature to me now, and I find it amusing, lol.
Although I promptly uninstall Facebook apps after logging in to check something sometimes, as they drain battery life and persistently run in the background bombarding me with notifications 24/7, it's not just Facebook alone! Yes, Facebook may be particularly excessive and unabashed in its practices, but other major corporate sites and apps engage in similar behavior.
At one point, my concern was Google, but, as I mentioned, I can't help but wonder about the world our children and their children will inhabit. It feels almost like a futuristic movie where a high-tech alien life prevails, everything is automated, and control rests in the hands of some influential entity.
