How do I add a border and color to the top tag of the text to make it look like this?

Wow, I can't believe there are still people who use Blogger. Maybe it's time to switch to WordPress, or at least learn how to style the tag element in Blogger. In a normal HTML or WordPress website, you would apply an inline style using CSS.

border : 1px solid #CCCCC (line thickness, solid, color in hex)
background: #xxxxx (color hex)
color: #FFFFF (font color - white in hex)
for bg, can use background-color or similar.

One effective method to style an element is to right-click on it, select "Inspect Element" in Chrome, and go to the "Styles" tab in the developer tab. Once there, start typing the desired style and the autocomplete feature should provide options. After determining the desired style and applying it in Chrome's inspector, copy everything that was added and determine where to insert it into your blog's styling or code section.

It's true that Blogger is older than CSS LOL, so it may be helpful to read the documentation or seek help specifically for Blogger's styling options. However, if you're looking for a more modern and streamlined experience, it might be worth considering switching to WordPress to avoid any potential frustrations and minimize stress-related hair loss rofl.

The purple color you mentioned is likely a default color from the WooCommerce plugin, which is exclusive to WordPress. It's possible that there is a similar plugin or customization available for Blogger, but it's important to note that not all platforms support styled tags like that. It may require some research or experimentation to achieve the desired result in Blogger....
