There's a seller on MMO who has an eBook about making and selling digital products on Etsy. He mentioned things like digital graphics for t-shirts or mugs. I can’t remember his name, but you should be able to find it with a quick search!

Etsy allows it because it helps them earn money. They want to keep the idea that their platform is for handmade items, so they say it's not allowed. But in reality, many big sellers are dropshipping.

The whole Etsy model is based around Handmade items. If you have a product available that isnt sold there then I would certainly check out the market for it on Etsy because you could seriously have a Big Time winner on your hands. If you use Etsy the way it was designed you will find that they (Etsy) will give your listings/store better treatment and offer promos with you etc.. Just saying.
