I recently discovered the Etsy business model and it has piqued my interest. I would greatly appreciate hearing some advice from experienced people on how to succeed in this type of business. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thanks for the advice! Do you think it could work if I buy a handmade product from someone who doesn’t sell online and then sell it on Etsy?

Etsy allows it because it helps them earn money. They want to keep the idea that their platform is for handmade items, so they say it's not allowed. But in reality, many big sellers are dropshipping.
 
If you want to make some quick money, consider the digital printable niche, like daily planners and journals. It’s simple and doesn’t involve any physical products!

You can sell digital items like SVG and PDF files.
 
I’m personally looking for ideas to start an Etsy shop haha. They’re pretty quick to ban people though!

My sister has been in the digital printing business for years! She’s been able to live comfortably without a regular job for at least 6 years. But she draws everything herself. We live in a tier 2 country.
