Hi,
About a year and a half ago, I started my online store on Facebook. I buy items in a specific niche and then resell them in my country (which is small, with about 2 million people).
Initially, I was one of the few selling products in this niche, but now I have over 30 competitors, many of whom are copying my ideas and texts. However, most of them lack marketing skills and budget, so they're not the main issue. The real problem is that a few pages are doing more marketing, spending more on Facebook ads, and offering products at prices that are 35% cheaper than mine.
In the last 3-4 months, my sales have dropped by over 40% because of these competitors.
My prices are already very low, and I haven't changed them since I started the store. But everything else has become more expensive, and I'm struggling to keep up.
I'm considering increasing my marketing budget, but I feel like I need to take action against these competing Facebook pages.
Several times a day, my customers send me pictures of products they found cheaper elsewhere and didn't buy from me. It's frustrating and upsetting.
Does anyone have any advice?
