I started a Shorts channel about 2 weeks ago and have been posting 1 video every day. Everything was going well, and I had about 3,300 subscribers. My views over 48 hours were between 70-80k, but suddenly they dropped to under 1,000. This happened out of nowhere, and there don’t seem to be any problems. What could be causing this? I’ve been posting high-quality videos regularly and getting great engagement.

You might be going through an algorithm change or a temporary shadow ban. Try adjusting the timing of your content and how you engage with viewers to help recover.

Did you receive any penalties on your channel recently?

YouTube is deleting some accounts lately. If your second channel gets deleted, your main account might also see fewer interactions for a little while.

Did you switch your proxy? Did you use a browser that hides your identity?

I think YouTube might have updated its algorithm, or your reach could have just dropped for a bit. Try to watch for any changes in your audience or video content. Keep being consistent, and your views might come back soon. :)

They always test things with the algorithm from time to time (I saw a support reply about that). Usually, these changes are temporary, but you never really know. You should keep going since it might just be short-lived.

I have a 16-year-old channel, and my views suddenly dropped a lot 11 days ago for no reason.
