Hey everyone,

I’ve been wanting to start a journey thread for a while but never really felt like I had anything to show. But now, things are clicking, and I finally want to share a bit of my story.

For years, I dreamed of making money on YouTube, but starting felt impossible. I lacked motivation, struggled with my mental health, and didn’t really believe it could work. I kept asking myself: “What if I fail? What if it’s all a waste of time?”

Then everything changed.

I found a mentor – someone who makes good money from simple content. He shared his methods with me, gave me access to his channels, and shared his tips and even mistakes. He guided me step-by-step. We’ve even got a small Telegram group now where we help each other grow.

While I was still just dreaming of making money on YouTube, these guys were already making anywhere from $2,200 to $5,500 a month with faceless, niche content. Looking back, I wish I’d started sooner... but I also worked through my struggles and completely changed my mindset.

So, I decided to give it a go.
I launched my first test channel on around May 19th. I uploaded a niche video — nothing too special. A few hours later, I checked, and it had 50 views. It wasn’t a lot, but it felt like magic. So, I kept going.
On May 21st, I uploaded another video. It hit 1,100 views in just one day.
I kept uploading, and soon enough, my views started regularly landing between 1,000 and 2,000.

Then came the big spike.

On May 30th, I got 33,000 views in a single day. After that, traffic fluctuated but kept climbing — hitting 61K views on another day, and more. The momentum was real.

A couple weeks later, I reached monetization. Right now, I’m making about €52 a day.
Since I wasn’t monetized for the entire month of June, my earnings are around €620 so far. I expect it to hit around €710–760 once the full month is done.

Just to clarify – this is only one of my channels. I have a few others too. Some haven’t taken off yet, and some are just waiting for the right moment. But a few are active, and I’m planning to push them hard. One, in particular, is also in a "simple" niche, but it needs more editing to stand out. It’s actually doing even better in terms of views and potential earnings.

To set some expectations:
My content isn’t aimed at the U.S. market. I focus on a lower-competition, lower-CPM niche from a developing country. It’s a strategic move, and it’s working.

One of my recent uploads was a bit rushed, but the moment I saw YouTube start picking up traffic, my motivation soared. That feeling of "it’s working" is like fuel for me.

The channel that’s made over €490 so far takes about an hour of my time each day. I make and upload one video daily to keep the stats strong.

I’m still at the start of my journey, but if you're reading this and you're unsure – just go for it. You’ll learn as you go.
A huge thanks to my mentor and our small community – I wouldn’t be where I am without them.

On my first channel, most of my videos are now hitting 81,000+ views, with even the "weaker" ones still getting 2,900+.
It’s funny, though. I started with one niche, and it just didn’t feel right.
I switched things up and uploaded a slightly different style of content – and BOOM, the views took off. That’s when I realized YouTube had found my audience.

Since then, I’ve only uploaded videos my audience actually wanted to see – and the growth has been steady. I’m now gaining around 105 subscribers a day, all organically.

At the same time, I’ve been working on a second channel. This one is in a more competitive niche – not the usual low-effort, spammy stuff – so it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to make each video. The content needs to be a bit better to get noticed, but the demand and monetization potential are huge.

My mentor, his friend, and several students have already made some solid money in this niche. One guy earned $6,200 in just 3 months. Not bad for only about 1 hour and 40 minutes of work a day, right?

And no – it’s not complicated at all. The content is pretty simple:

  • Stock photos or short video clips
  • AI-written story or repurposed script
  • Text overlay
  • Robot voiceover
  • Minimal editing

The videos are usually 8+ minutes long, with most ranging from 16–31 minutes. It's better to aim for 30+ minutes.

To boost revenue, I set up automatic ad breaks every 18 seconds. While YouTube doesn’t always show ads that often, it helps increase monetization chances when they do show up.

Here’s my plan for today:

  • I’ll start by making 1 video for my first channel.
  • After that, I’ll focus more on my second channel since it needs more attention.
I’ll keep this thread updated whenever there’s something cool to share. I won’t give away everything, but I’m happy to offer insights and help when I can.

And yes – the niche I’m working in is also available in the U.S. market, but right now I’m focusing on a “developing” country where there’s less competition for certain reasons. It’s been working great so far.

I might’ve missed something, but I’ll post more updates soon.

Thanks for reading!
Let’s keep pushing forward.
