Hello, I apologize for my poor English. I wanted to share my experience with using Namecheap for CPA purposes. I had around 15 domains and a Stellar Plus hosting plan with them, and everything appeared to be working well for almost a year. However, when I attempted to log in to my account, I was confronted with an unpleasant message.

So, I tried to contact support to resolve the issue, but this was the response I received.

All of my domains are down now, and some of them don't even have an index page - just a blank page since I hadn't set them up yet. This is after using landing pages related to gaming generators and a WordPress blog about mobile game apps. I'm starting from scratch, and I'm wondering if you could recommend a good domain registrar and hosting provider.

Before switching to a new platform, have you considered asking Namecheap if they can transfer your domains out? I'm sorry to hear about the account suspension - it sounds like you might have been involved in some activities that violated Namecheap's policies.

I contacted Namecheap about transferring my domains, but they said it wasn't possible because of the abuse. Unfortunately, I'm also unable to log in to my Namecheap account. The only recent activity I can think of is adding a mobile app to my WordPress blog that's related to watching the World Cup for free.

Hello, did you happen to use a stolen credit card or credit cards obtained from online forums?

Usually, when a registrar takes such drastic action, it's because they have discovered serious illegal activities illegal porn or so, or phishing scams being conducted on their platform.

I used my real PayPal account and provided my genuine personal information, including my name and last name, when paying for the domains.

To clarify, I didn't engage in any illegal activities; I only created CPA landing pages.

Do you think it's possible that my account was suspended due to copyright infringement issues?

"It's possible that my recent post on my WordPress blog about how to watch the World Cup for free triggered the account suspension, but I'm not entirely sure.

That's a good question. It seems strange that they suspended all 15 of my domains instead of just one. I only used the free World Cup watching app on my WordPress blog, so it's unclear why all of my other domains were affected as well

It does seem unusual. I agree that if a rule is broken, they should only suspend the offending domain instead of all 15. I suspect it might be an account-related issue, possibly related to payment.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I used a Namecheap top-up payment service without realizing that they had used a stolen credit card to fund my account. I wasn't able to prove that I owned the cards, so I couldn't retrieve my account. The only solution offered to me was to pay the chargeback fee on the Namecheap account, which I declined to do, and eventually left the account.

Just to clarify, I only added the post about how to watch the World Cup for free on my WordPress blog, which included a CPA link.

Another thing that's still unclear to me is that I have other domains registered with Porkbun that were hosted on the Namecheap account, and they are still online. It seems like only the domains registered with Namecheap were shut down, but the hosting plan is still active. Unfortunately, I'm unable to log in to my Namecheap account to investigate further.

I used my genuine PayPal account to pay for my domains a year ago, and every time I purchased a new domain, I used the same PayPal account. Therefore, I'm confident that it's not a payment-related issue.

It seems that keeping our domain names with Namecheap may not be safe. I recently moved one of my domain names to Namecheap because it was cost-effective and offered free privacy services. Previously, my domain was hosted with Bluehost, which charged separately for privacy and had much higher domain name costs.

However, after reading a thread about Namecheap's safety concerns, I feel the need to look for another domain name registrar.

Does anyone know of a reliable and affordable domain name registration company?

The hosting provider has the right to suspend hosting services, but they do not have the right to suspend domains without a court order.

My partner had a similar experience; after receiving too many DMCA notices, Namecheap closed their account for abuse. That's why I don't recommend Namecheap, especially since they have other issues related to their involvement in politics.

Instead, I suggest trying namesilo.com as your new preferred domain name registrar. They offer free WHOIS privacy and the cheapest domains, without any questionable tactics such as increasing renewal prices. The yearly rate remains the same, except for ICANN rate modifications.
