Pinterest serves as a platform where people can explore and gather inspiration for their interests and hobbies. Each idea is represented by a "pin," which is essentially an image saved and searched by Pinterest users. Notably, these pins can also direct users to external websites, making Pinterest a valuable tool for generating traffic and driving sales.

People use Pinterest to bookmark and share things they find appealing with their friends and followers. Additionally, it's enjoyable to peruse through the discoveries made by other Pinterest users. Personally, I have come across numerous things that I wouldn't have found otherwise. Browsing through pins is simply an entertaining experience.

It's important to note that Pinterest is not solely a social media site but rather a visual content platform. In fact, it is also recognized as a popular search engine optimization platform, much like Google. While Google remains the dominant force in traffic generation, Pinterest holds its own as a prominent player in this regard, often referred to as the "Queen" of traffic factors, while Google is considered the "King."

Primarily a platform catering to the interests of women.

I'm not sure why there's a higher proportion of female traffic compared to male traffic when it comes to using this platform for sharing blog posts. This observation could be related to the fact that the backlinks are visible in the Google Search Console (GSC).

Using it or not, it serves as valuable citations and enhances relevance on social media platforms.

Correct. It serves as an excellent platform for e-commerce and fashion, but its effectiveness is relatively lower for other niches and categories.

Is it still functioning for indexing? How many shares do you generate per link?
