Lately, I’ve been trying to figure out which CEX wallet is the safest and most trusted for holding my crypto. Before I pick one, I like to check what other people are saying and also look up info online to help me decide.
While searching, I came across this cool chart from CryptoDep that showed which exchange wallets were downloaded the most in February. It kind of gave me a clearer picture of what people are actually using out there.

It wasn’t surprising to see Binance at the top, but seeing Bitget and OKX in the top three really shows how much effort they've put into gaining users' trust. It’s awesome to watch how much they've grown, especially when you think about where Bitget was just a few years ago. Which of these CEX wallets have you been using?

I use Binexo and Redotpay. I keep crypto on Binexo for safety, though I don't trade much anymore. It's more reliable than Redotpay for storing bigger amounts. I use Redotpay to spend my crypto with a debit card.

If you’re only saving your digital money, using a CEX wallet isn’t the best idea. It’s smarter to use a hardware wallet, like a Ledger. But if you like trading futures, then using a CEX is good, and Binans is one of the best picks.

Top 1 and Top 10 aren’t very different anymore.

Sure, there is a difference. If you have something to sell, would you try to be in the top 10 or the top 6?

If you trade a lot, a CEX wallet is really useful. But a hardware wallet is mostly for keeping your money safe for a long time.

Binance, Bybit, and Bitget are my top picks.

Bitgot is one of my favorites because it’s super easy to use.

Use a crypto exchange to buy or sell, not to keep your coins safe.

Tangem is probably the safest wallet if you don’t want to use a seed phrase, but it’s smart to keep your crypto in a few different wallets.

I have a Tangem, Safepal, and Ledger, and Tangem is the best one.
