What are the limits for story views and story likes on a new account versus an older account?

Also, if you're doing a lot of other actions on an account, like following, unfollowing, liking posts, or commenting, how many story views and story likes can you do in one day? Does it change depending on if the account is new or older?

As someone new to this, I also want to ask: what's the difference between story views and story likes since they seem related? Don’t you have to see a story to like it? So, wouldn't it make sense to like every story you view so you get two notifications instead of just one?

One more thing: Can you "warm up" a new account by just viewing and liking stories? What about liking posts while browsing the feed?

I don't remember the exact limits, but it's important to be cautious when you figure them out. I suggest pushing the limits slowly.

The current story limits are about 1,100 to 2,000 per day, depending on how old your account is and its trust score.

Take it slow and steady, just keep the ratio in mind.

For example, if you're doing X per day now, don't increase it by more than 50-100 per day each time.

So, you could technically do 950-1,950 story views per day, along with 210 follows, 210 feed likes, and 30 comments each day, as long as your account was trusted and warmed up?

It's better to warm up accounts by reposting reels from more popular accounts.

That’s good, but what’s the result of this?

I’m reading different things. Some people say that the story view limit is still 10,000 a day in 2024, and the story like limit is 2,000 a day.

One person in a thread here gets up to 1,200 story likes a day.

An automation expert tells me that even the oldest and most warmed-up accounts can only do 500-1,000 story views in 24 hours.

Another expert says it's a maximum of 500 story views per day.

Another says it's only 100 story views per day.

So, which one is correct?

I manage story views, and I can tell you that it all depends on the account's trust score and the targeting. I do around 8,000 to 9,000 story views each day and get about 550 to 950 likes on stories daily. Targeting is really important when it comes to getting story interactions.

Unless you're using a bot, I haven't come across any limits...!!!!

Yeah, because honestly, it's not possible to manually view 11,000 stories and like 2,100 stories a day. If you could, you'd hit limits really fast.

This is the correct answer. This is roughly the range where any good-quality account can engage without running into issues like being flagged as spam or getting blocked.

To reply to your question, I don’t think there’s a set number for how many story views or likes you can get.

About how many followers do you get when you give out around 590 story likes a day? What about when it’s closer to 990, or maybe even 2,030 daily? What kind of stuff do you post about? Is your profile brand new or has it been around a while?

Also, I was wondering—wouldn’t it be better to only send story likes with views, and skip doing just views by themselves? I feel like people notice you more when you actually tap like or react to their story instead of only watching it. From what I know, they get a ping when you like their story, but not when you just view it. Right?

If a post makes sense to people, then getting more views usually means you’ll get more likes too.

How many people are actually following you back when you follow them?

Oh! I don’t really remember the exact limits off the top of my head.

Yes, this! @jarvisgrowth — If you're sending around 980 story LIKES (since those probably stand out more than just views), how many new followers are you seeing from that?
