Hey everyone,

I’ve been curious about how hard it is to make money from police bodycam videos on YouTube. I think the biggest issue would be making sure the video is seen as original by YouTube, since a lot of channels post the same footage. Would adding commentary to the video be enough to make it unique?

Or would it be safer to make compilations on specific topics, like the example below?

Any advice or ideas?

You can make money on YouTube without needing someone else to help you earn. Just upload videos and get real people to watch them. When they watch, ads will play, and you can earn money from those views.
I don't believe this is a helpful response.

Are you the person who works with AI?

It would seem like it’s original. I’ve even seen channels post the bodycam videos just as they are and get hundreds of thousands of views.

Yeah, not all of them make money, even if they get tons of views. But thanks, I get what you're saying.

What about the cost of getting the video? How does the Freedom of Information Act work?

Commentary works better and is safer than just a compilation. Sometimes, it's also more interesting than a simple collection of clips.

You’ve picked a good, focused audience, which is great!

Audience: "male" of all ages

Content ideas:

Talk about police videos
Discuss guns
Share info about weapons
Talk about body armor
Review tactical equipment
Discuss survival gear
Share tips on how men should dress and act in business. Some of us guys aren’t sure how to do this, and it’s something we need to learn.
Comment on crazy things women do, etc.
Got the idea?

Come up with a brand name. You can try using a “business name generator” online.
Get a website domain for that name.
Set up a WordPress site and host it with a CPanel provider. You can search for “free cPanel hosting” or buy hosting on Web Hosting Talk or BHW marketplace.
Add a plugin to upload videos.

Post affiliate ads for Amazon products, books, tactical gear, clothes, and anything else that men like. Keep it family-friendly—no adult content or dating sites.

When you add your own commentary to other videos, you can stream it live (with a chat) or upload it to YouTube and Rumble.

Use Streamlabs to stream to multiple places at once, like Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and more. It’s $19 a month. Live streaming is great because you can interact with your audience and build loyalty. Loyalty = Sales = Money = Donations.

Check out WSODownloads.IN for courses on Affiliate Marketing, Amazon, POD, Funnels, Streaming, and Filmmaking. It’s all there! If you want to learn about filming, there’s a Filmmaker course in the BHW downloads section.

A famous internet marketer once said, "Without a crowd, you're broke."

Make sure to bring people to your website and get them to subscribe to your email list. Offer them a free PLR course from PLRDatabase.net as a thank you for signing up. You could use one related to bodybuilding for men. Then, they’re YOUR customers, not YouTube’s.

OP, @theeyeinside just gave you some great advice, now it's time for you to get to work! I usually think it's better not to share a niche, but sometimes this kind of magic happens!

At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal, but when he told me, I couldn’t help but smile... like giving precious jewels to a child!
