I started with a low-cost hosting plan, and it worked well in the beginning. After more people visited my site, it became really slow. Has anyone else gone through the same thing?

Yes, that happens a lot. Low-cost hosting can be good when your site is small, but it may slow down as more people visit. Many website owners move to a better hosting plan or use tools like caching or a CDN to keep their sites fast.

Yes, I went through something like that around 2009 when I first got started online. I was using free hosting because I didn’t have much money and didn’t know it was worth paying for better service.

After about 70 people visited my small one-page blog in a week, it stopped working. The site showed a "resource limit reached" error, so no one could open it. That was the moment I learned that free hosting has limits when more visitors show up.

When I asked the hosting company what was wrong, they said the free plan was only made for learning. They told me I would need a paid plan if I wanted a website that could handle more visitors. I was upset when I heard that, but after a few years I understood they were being honest. Looking back, I can see why they said it.
