After doing FBA prep work in-house for more than 8 years, I now have the capacity to offer warehousing and FBA prep services to other businesses that sell on Amazon. However, I'm not sure if there is enough demand for this service and how to find solid leads.

I'm located in Florida, close to a shipping port, and have shrink wrap machines, vacuum machines, full color label printers, boxes, bags, and other packaging information.

Considering you've already invested in all the necessary equipment to begin, there's minimal risk of major losses, making it a worthwhile venture to try out for yourself. Many FBA sellers opt for their storage units, which can be a great alternative to accommodate all your items. To compete effectively, avoid pricing too high, as customers tend to prefer professional teams behind most prep centers. Based on my experience, setting a price of 35c or less per packaged product, without additional prepping material, is considered competitive.

To succeed, focus on building your customer base and gaining recognition within the industry. As you grow, you'll have a better chance of competing with larger prep centers. One effective approach is to advertise on popular wholesale websites that permit their products to be sold on Amazon or use online extensions that aid people in sourcing products. By providing a viable home-prepping alternative, you can attract those already in the business.

Creativity is key when it comes to advertising, but one of the best platforms is Google. Having a website can be beneficial, and even if it doesn't rank on the first page, potential customers in the FBA game will research numerous prep centers to find the lowest cost per product prep, which could be you. Best of luck with your endeavors!

Begin by entering the market where dropshippers actively participate, such as Facebook groups, and collaborate with reputable mentors who offer popular dropshipping courses. Their endorsement will boost your credibility. If you can maintain competitive rates, you'll tap into a high demand for these services. Typically, product sellers handle shipping, but you can negotiate favorable rates with them, exceeding what others offer. Adopt a dual perspective: envision yourself as a buyer seeking the best value, and then put on the mindset of a service provider catering to their needs.
