Hello Everyone,

I'm seeking a method to scrape free image sites such as Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay, and others for specific keywords, and then automate the process of posting them to Pinterest using some sort of automation tool.

Even if I can queue them up in the scheduled post section a week in advance, giving me time to add titles, descriptions, links, and tags, it would be a tremendous time-saver.

Currently, I'm using Canva to create pins, but I'm open to adding several hundred pins without any image text. I plan to push them out with one affiliate link and observe the results.

Any suggestions for tools that can accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm curious to know if it's feasible or if it's not advisable.

Thank you!

This post is ranking 5th for 'scrape and automate free images,' but that doesn’t really help me either.

All of these offer free APIs; all you need is a bit of Python knowledge.

You can make a program using PHP or Python to do that. If you want to create a desktop app, you can use C#.

Use the free API requests to search for your pictures.

When someone clicks on a pin, the information might not match what they expect. If Pinterest sees this, they can ban your account. They also don’t like affiliate links or redirects. I once got my content to match well and made a little money, but then Pinterest banned a lot of my accounts, and the companies I worked with stopped partnering with me. I felt stuck in the middle. Here’s what I suggest:

Make sure your content matches what you show.
For affiliate links, use reliable redirects like t.co on Twitter.
If you have multiple accounts, the proxies you use should keep your real IP hidden, like a ping test would.
Make sure the email addresses for your accounts are active, as Pinterest checks for this.
The software part is the easiest; the other things are harder. I've done a lot of automation with Python. The company I worked for wasn’t great. I’m thinking of trying out ShareASale, but I’m worried it might not work. If you’re making money with CPA, maybe we can work on some projects together! Also, English isn't my first language.

Not sure if they are still in business, but back in the years I used to automate pins with Ninjapinner.

What language do you speak at home?
