Linkedin Is anyone reaching out to LinkedIn prospects through cold emailing?

Hi there,
I don't recommend using it for mailing.
While it's legal depending on how you use it, be careful because you could get into trouble if your messages are too promotional. Plus, this method doesn't work well; customers are usually not interested, and they pay even less attention to texts compared to phone calls.

What I suggest is to download the emails and create a custom audience on Facebook by importing those emails. Then, advertise your offer to that audience. It will cost more, but you'll get better results.

Best, Your partner

Thanks a bunch!

I think cold messages work better on LinkedIn because they’re built right into how it’s used. They can be really effective, especially for B2B services or in EdTech, where trust and shared connections can be more important than price.

If you don’t have hundreds of thousands of target audience members on LinkedIn for that specific area, I’d suggest using LinkedIn direct messages instead of cold emails. It might take more time, but you’ll likely get a better response.

I'm contemplating investing in Phantom Buster to extract emails from LinkedIn and offer my services to local businesses in my area. Will this approach still be effective in 2024? My strategy involves sending out around 100-300 emails per day. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

In 2024, using Phantom Buster to find emails on LinkedIn can still help with selling local services. Make sure each email is personalized so it doesn’t end up as spam. Start small—about 50-100 emails a day—to test how well it works and stay within LinkedIn’s limits. Don’t forget to follow up and try to build real connections!

It still works, but just a heads-up:

If you’re using Phantombuster, be careful because it might get your account suspended (it happened to me). Try using safer tools like Heyreach.io or WeConnect instead.

I’m curious—how do you gather emails for this?
