Maybe some of you have helpful tips for me about that, or maybe the time for Amazon FBA has passed.

No, this is my field, and it's getting tougher each year. You can look it up, but Amazon has been kicking sellers off listings for selling well-known brand products.

If you’re planning to make your own products, it can still be a good option, but you’ll have to handle all the FBA fees and spend money on ads to get sales.

The only reason it’s still popular is because course sellers make it sound like a dream, but it’s not. There are scams from suppliers, lost shipments, damaged products, returns, and more.

Unless you’re really passionate about a product and have $9,000+ to invest, plus months or even years to build it up, I’d recommend staying away.

Ah, thanks for your reply! But what if I do something simple like using mouth tape, make a funny TikTok about it, and put an Amazon link in my bio? What do you think of that?

By the way, in my country, 500-1,000 euros is pretty good money.

Amazon FBA can still make money in 2025, but it’s getting tougher. If you’re making your own products and can manage the fees, ads, and problems like returns and damaged items, it could still work. But it’s not as easy as before, and you’ll need to invest a lot of money and time to see success.

If you're new to making money online, skip FBA for now. Start with freelancing or affiliate work to build up some money and skills, then think about FBA after 6-12 months.

If you decide to try FBA, start small with a budget of $500-$1,000 in a niche you know well. Watch YouTube channels like Full-time FBA or Jungle Scout for free advice from experts.

Mindset: Treat it like a real business, not a way to get rich fast. Patience and research are super important.

It's a bit of a gamble, and there are lots of others trying to do the same thing—even sellers from China are now offering their stuff right on Amazon. But if you’ve done it before and really understand how it works, there’s still a chance to make good money.

It’s not easy at all, but someone who tries really hard might still be able to pull it off.

Starting something with Amazon is kind of like building on sand—it might look strong, but it can fall apart fast. They don’t really treat sellers or partners like they matter. If something goes wrong, it’s usually hard to get help. Sometimes, even if you follow the rules, they might just stop working with you for no clear reason.

You can earn money and grow your business with Amazon things like FBA or affiliate links. Some people do really well! But before jumping in, check out the stories online—some folks worked hard for years, only to lose everything over small mistakes or confusing rules.

If you try it, keep your main job and treat this like a side project—unless you have other ways to make money just in case.

You can spend a ton of time, effort, and even thousands of dollars trying to start your shop, and then—just like that—it might all disappear, with almost no way to fix it. That’s why some people decide to focus on other options.

Also, before you even deal with the headaches, there's the problem of how the rules keep changing. The company often makes it harder by raising seller costs or cutting how much you earn from helping them sell stuff. At first, it might look like you're making enough money, but after a few months, the numbers change, and things can fall apart. You might have to raise your prices, and then fewer people want to buy.

For me, I decided to help share other sellers’ deals on different websites instead. It felt better than always running into problems with the big platform.

What place are you part of these days?

I think I’d rather make my own online store instead. With some big platforms, they can block you without much warning—it happens more than you’d think. And if that happens, everything you worked hard on could just disappear.
