Maybe some of you have helpful tips for me about that, or maybe the time for Amazon FBA has passed.
Starting something with Amazon is kind of like building on sand—it might look strong, but it can fall apart fast. They don’t really treat sellers or partners like they matter. If something goes wrong, it’s usually hard to get help. Sometimes, even if you follow the rules, they might just stop working with you for no clear reason.
You can earn money and grow your business with Amazon things like FBA or affiliate links. Some people do really well! But before jumping in, check out the stories online—some folks worked hard for years, only to lose everything over small mistakes or confusing rules.
If you try it, keep your main job and treat this like a side project—unless you have other ways to make money just in case.
You can spend a ton of time, effort, and even thousands of dollars trying to start your shop, and then—just like that—it might all disappear, with almost no way to fix it. That’s why some people decide to focus on other options.
Also, before you even deal with the headaches, there's the problem of how the rules keep changing. The company often makes it harder by raising seller costs or cutting how much you earn from helping them sell stuff. At first, it might look like you're making enough money, but after a few months, the numbers change, and things can fall apart. You might have to raise your prices, and then fewer people want to buy.
For me, I decided to help share other sellers’ deals on different websites instead. It felt better than always running into problems with the big platform.
