Hello,

I have a strong interest in acquiring "free and smart" backlinks and enjoy analyzing them in my competitors' reports (although I don't create them myself).

However, many people argue that such backlinks are useless. As I have the opportunity to put this to the test, I am curious to see if my fascination with foundation backlinks is justified.

Use Case:

I have created two websites that are exact duplicates of my main site (in terms of content) but translated and proofreaded by native speakers, with a fresh domain name. Both websites were launched simultaneously in two countries with similar populations and operate in an easy niche.

The only difference between the two sites is that Site 1 has a minimal 301 redirect.

Site 1 is going to be the lucky recipient of backlinks.

Backlinks:

• I plan to use 20-30 previously well-indexed backlinks from last year for one of my websites.
• Additionally, I will be using the top 20-30 backlinks from this forum.

What comes next?

I will wait until the end of June and adjust my strategy accordingly. I may consider incorporating web 2.0 or adding more links if needed.

After investing approximately 5 to 6 hours of work, the following outcomes were observed:

• 44 backlinks were successfully created, with the majority being of high quality and serving as foundational links.
• Unfortunately, one backlink was lost during the process.
• Additionally, there are plans to incorporate 2 to 3 exceptionally good backlinks in the upcoming days.

Based on these actions and developments, I anticipate that there will be no significant changes observed at the conclusion of the testing period.

Undoubtedly, backlinks are indeed effective. Backlinks of excellent quality obtained from authoritative websites have a significant impact. Conversely, the inexpensive options you come across are unlikely to get positive results.
