Has anyone else had fake accounts copying your pins and posting them on Bored Panda?
Is there anything we can do besides filing a copyright complaint on Pinterest?

I’m curious whether they grab the images from our websites or just take them right from Pinterest.
It’s crazy that Pinterest still hasn’t blocked that link — this has been happening for almost six years.

Yeah, this happens pretty often. People usually take images straight from Pinterest, but sometimes from other sites too. To protect your work, you can add watermarks or report the account if it keeps using your pictures without permission.

Another way is to add small logos or designs to your pictures. That way, if someone shares them, people can still see they came from your account or website.

Yes, that happens a lot. Fake accounts usually steal images directly from Pinterest, not your site. Besides filing DMCA or copyright complaints, there isn’t much else you can do. Pinterest is slow to block repeat offenders. Adding watermarks and EXIF/metadata can help, but it doesn’t stop everything.
