Hi everyone! I’m starting this story to help myself stay focused and not quit. My goal is to grow a blog and bring visitors using Pinterest and other ways.
Right now, I make about 720 euros a month at my job, which is the lowest pay where I live. If I can make 1.1k, life would feel easier. If I reach around 1.9k, I could also help my family more.
About me
I’m a 25-year-old woman from Ukraine, now living in Greece. I’ve been interested in making money online for a long time. I’ve tried many things like paid click sites, small online jobs, social media work, online stores, and promoting products for others. I tried a lot, but nothing really worked out. I only made small amounts here and there.
Many times, I stopped before things could grow. I spent lots of time reading forums and ideas, feeling excited, but not actually taking action. Living in a place full of tourists and seeing people relax while you work all year can feel really hard sometimes.
The idea
While I was watching TikTok, I saw a girl say she made over 29k from her blog by getting visitors from Pinterest. At that time, she wasn’t selling lessons or coaching. She was just building her page. (Later on, she did make a course.) Her blog and Pinterest page were public, so the numbers looked real.
I felt super motivated. That felt like a huge amount of money. Even 1.8k a month would be more than enough for me. I also worried because English is not my first language, but I thought, how hard can writing be if I use helpful tools?
What I did
I started my blog in October, and I told myself I had about 12 months to earn something from it. I wrote a few posts and shared some pins, but I didn’t give it my full effort. I wasn’t all in, so my traffic is still pretty low.

Money spent: about $105 ($42 for domain and hosting, $63 on 2 Pinterest courses)
Blog posts written: 7
Pins shared: 27
My topic works really well on Pinterest. Some of the pins I posted months ago, so it makes sense that traffic went down a bit.
For this journey, I want to turn a slow blog into something that makes around $1.9k per month. Let’s see how it goes!
Next steps:
This time, my mindset is: “I will make this work, no matter what.”
I’ll post updates whenever I have news. Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear any tips you have!

Next steps:
- Focus on Pinterest and try posting 5 pins a day instead of just 1. I want to see if more pins bring more visitors.
- Add more articles to my blog so I have more pins to share.
- Look for keywords using Pinterest Trends and try seasonal ideas to see which ones get more attention.
This time, my mindset is: “I will make this work, no matter what.”
