Hey everyone,

I’ve been using Pinterest for some time now and really enjoy it, but I’m curious about how to make money from it. Has anyone here been able to earn with Pinterest? If so, what methods worked for you? Any tips for a beginner like me?

I’m especially interested in:

Affiliate marketing
Selling products or services
Using Pinterest to bring traffic to a blog or website
Would love to hear your experiences and advice!

Thanks!

You can earn money on Pinterest just like with other websites that bring in traffic. It all comes down to the same methods: affiliate sales, display ads, or selling your own products.

The important part is choosing a niche that Pinterest users like. There are some areas that women are really interested in, like fashion, food and recipes, entertainment news, travel, and DIY crafts. You can learn more about what works on Pinterest by doing some research.

When I used Pinterest, I mostly made money through display ads and affiliate links on my blog. But the biggest income came from display ads.

If you choose the right niche and are lucky enough to have your pins go viral, you can earn a good amount.

There's no perfect trick to make pins go viral. It's more about trying many things and hoping some work. With Pinterest, as long as you're in a popular niche and talk about topics people really care about, some of your pins will catch on and bring in traffic.

Can someone explain how to earn money on Pinterest? Does the money come from the amount of traffic, or is there another way it works?

Pinterest doesn’t pay you directly. It’s just a regular platform where you can share content, like how you share on Twitter. There isn’t much difference. People use it to bring traffic to their websites, and this can be done on any platform.

I’m not totally on board with that. You can still earn by posting pins with special links. If someone clicks and buys, you get a little money. You can also make cash by selling stuff yourself.

No matter what path you pick, just remember—most people using Pinterest are women and the stuff there is mostly things they like.

You can team up with companies and help show off the things they sell.

Try sending people to a helpful blog page that has your special links in it. That trick can work pretty great.
