I’m starting this post to talk about what’s been going on for me and to hear what others think, because this problem has been slowing me down for a long time. I’ve been running about two or three Pinterest accounts for my fashion and beauty project, all linking to the same site, for a little over a year, and I still hardly get any results. With my other accounts, I normally get thousands of clicks without much trouble.
After looking over everything, I feel like the problem might be coming from one of these things:
Landing page quality: Maybe Pinterest thinks my site isn’t very good because it has a bunch of AdSense ads everywhere.
Language and proxy: I’m using a proxy from Spain, but all my posts are in English.
Competition: I might be trying to rank for keywords that way too many people are already using.
Content match: My posts are made with an auto-scraping tool, so the stuff I’m sharing might not really answer what people are searching for.
Market changes: I usually work with Spanish accounts, but this time I checked Pinterest Trends for the U.S., and the whole system—competition and the algorithm—might work totally differently. Maybe I shouldn’t just dump loads of content and hope it sticks.
The funny part is that one of my almost four accounts uses a U.S. proxy, and it still acts the same, so I’m starting to think the real problem might be the content or the landing page itself.
Profile A:

I got a lot of views, but almost no one tapped on my pins. At the same time this one was getting tons of views, I had another account getting a little over ninety-something outbound clicks — but that one ended up getting banned.
These are the pins on this account that have the most views. But the first two (“makeup looks” and “makeup ideas”) only got about one or maybe two clicks in the past around 80 days. Do you know any way I can use all those views to my advantage? Or should I just forget about those pins and work on new ones instead?

I’m also thinking about dropping AdSense and trying Mediavine or another ad company, because AdSense hasn’t worked very well for some other topics I’ve tried. If anyone has used Mediavine before or knows a smart first step, I’d really love to hear your advice.
Do you think these accounts still have a chance? Or should I just make brand-new ones? Maybe the real issue is the topic or the words I’m trying to rank for.
Thanks a lot for any help you can share. I’ll post an update here in a little over a week.
