Has anyone here made a coin using PumpFun before?

About how much money do you need to get started?

What steps do you have to take to launch a coin on PumpFun?

And what kind of marketing is needed to help the coin grow?

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I actually made my own token once. I named it something like "Room 304."

If you're just trying to drop a random meme coin, it won’t cost you anything. But if you want to grab a few tokens for yourself, you’ll pay a gas fee and maybe around 0.19 SOL or so.

Now, if you're aiming to look more real, it's smart to set up a website, an X page, and a TG group. For getting the word out, X and Telegram work great. You can even boost it on Dexscreener — doesn’t cost too much either.

It’s honestly super simple — even a kid could pull it off. Some actually have, and even scammed folks live on video, lol.

The hard part isn’t starting. Launching is the easy bit. What really matters is what you do before and after. That’s what decides if it flops or flies.

Before launch, it’s smart to have at least one or two of your own speedy bots ready, ‘cause the second a coin goes live, some bot will sniff it out and grab a few million tokens for next to nothing.

One thing I’ve noticed: if you wait about 4–6 minutes after launch before shouting it out or pushing your next moves, a lot of those bots will dip when they think no one’s jumping in.

Next up, you’ll need people to actually buy the coin. That means building a group and getting folks excited before it even launches. Having influencers or promoters really helps. One time, this guy messaged me and shared around 39 huge KOLs from his circle who liked the project — he saw the potential and didn’t even ask for cash. All he wanted was the early contract address (ECA). I gave it to him once it went live, and of course, his crew jumped in early.

After that, I’d send it out to admins of big Telegram groups who already agreed to share it. Not long after, I’d post it for the community — the one you should’ve already started growing on X. If your idea’s solid, people will start following it fast. X (especially crypto Twitter) is the place to be. Grow your crowd there and focus your hype there. If a bunch of big names start following you, you’re headed in the right direction.

Once you’ve got everything ready, set up a volume bot and a little pump bot—just use tiny amounts to get things moving.

Put all of that together with a strong project, and it gets pretty simple to "bond" on Pumpfun. What comes after bonding is where the real work starts.

Something that’s working well now is starting a Live Space not long after launch. Also, having a real product matters too. Is your coin gonna actually do something? Will you burn a bit of your own stash or lock it away for a few months to prove you’re serious and not just cashing out? Things like sharing updates, building your project, teaming up with known names — all of that helps decide if it flies or fails.

You can also grab ads, boosts, and promos on places like Dexscreener and other sites. But even with that stuff, your project still needs to actually be good or it won’t go far.

Starting it all is the easy part — seriously, that bit’s simple. The real work comes after. But if you do it right, you can make solid money (I’ve done it). If some big players notice and start trying to outbuy each other, things can blow up fast.

Personally, I like trading more. I've had a few solid wins lately — check these out... Bullx is a solid one if you set it up right. That one called Whisp and even Vine are super easy to trade — they bounce up and down like clockwork. If you keep watching, you’ll start to see the pattern. I actually hold a lot of Vine too ’cause I think it’ll lead to something big. If you’ve been following the story, you know what I mean.
