Google’s latest QR code check

As you probably know, Google just released an update to replace phone verification. After scanning the QR code with your phone, it takes you to a page with a "Send SMS" button. But when I click it, my phone just shows a loading symbol that keeps spinning. I’ve tried it on other phones too, but it’s the same thing. I think it might have to do with how many accounts are on the phone.


What are the exact steps on the phone? Does anyone know if there’s a video online that shows how to do the rest?

This new QR method can be a bit tricky at first. Your guess about too many accounts linked to the device could be the issue. Try using a fresh browser, maybe in incognito mode, or even a different device that doesn’t have other Google accounts signed in. Sometimes browser extensions or VPNs can mess with how it works too. There aren't any secret steps; it should just send the SMS.
