Hey folks! I'm here to share my options trading adventure, taking $1,000 all the way up to $10,000. I'll be tackling this challenge on Webull, primarily engaging in day trading with a few overnight swings thrown into the mix.

My journey in trading began at the age of 17 with options, followed by a stint in crypto, and then finding success in index futures. Now, armed with more market experience, I'm circling back to where it all began - options trading.

I won't be sharing my day trades, but whenever I make an overnight swing, I'll drop it here for my fellow options traders to check out :)

DAY TWO

+$77.70 for the day, 6.70% growth

Trades:

TSLA $240 call:
Bought at $3.33 (two contracts)
Sold one at $3.50
Sold the other at $4.00
I got a bit emotional trading today. I was down a bit on TSLA, stuck to my plan regarding stop losses, but ended up closing early for a small profit instead of holding to my target. If I had held to my target, I would’ve made $200+. I was over-leveraged, which contributed to my emotional trading.

Overall, it was another profitable day. I'll analyze my entries and exits, observe how the market moves for the rest of the NY session, and then look for new setups for tomorrow.

Are you performing technical analysis?

Yes, I'm combining volume analysis (VWAP, volume profile), supply and demand, price action, and Fibonacci.

  2. SPY $455 Call

    • Exit: $0.82
    • P&L: +$20

Summary:

  • Amazon (AMZN):

    • Closed position at a 54% loss after breaching final support.
  • SPY:
    • Managed a small gain on the SPY call, which partially offset the loss from Amazon.

Reflection:

Despite the setback, the account is still up 22%, with a current balance of $1,243. The key takeaway is to learn from the experience and refine strategies for future trades.

I use every timeframe. Generally, I map levels on all timeframes up to the monthly chart, and then switch to shorter timeframes like 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 15 minutes for intraday trading.
