I’ve been running two Google Ads campaigns in different areas: one for in-home care and another for therapy services. I’ve spent around $300 but only got five leads, three of which were fake. How can I improve my results? What might I be doing wrong? I’d really appreciate some expert advice on this.

Keep an eye on and block bad IPs. I use tools like ClickCease or Google Ads IP Exclusion to stop suspicious IPs from bots or competitors clicking on ads. Also, pick more specific keywords and stay away from using broad ones if your budget is tight.

I believe your Google Ads campaigns could use some improvements. Try using negative keywords and make sure your ad copy is clear, with a strong landing page. Stop fake leads by using form validation and fraud protection. Test different bidding methods like manual CPC or Target CPA. Use remarketing and audience targeting to connect with the right people. Keep checking and tweaking for better results!

Try out different ads, target different groups, and use various keywords. Don't forget to use negative keywords and experiment with different ways to break up your audience.

You may need to improve your targeting, change up your keywords, and set up stronger lead filters to block fake leads. Also, trying different ad designs and landing pages might make a difference.

What kind of campaign are you running? Is it for traffic or conversions?

You should choose conversion to help it improve.

Targeting: Focus on a smaller group of people. Maybe you’re showing your ad to the wrong crowd.
Keywords: Use more exact words that match what people search for.
Ad Message: Make your ad words more interesting and clear about what you offer.
Landing Page: Make sure your page opens fast and is easy to use for buying or signing up.
Negative Keywords: Add words you don’t want your ad to show for, so you don’t get wrong clicks.
A/B Testing: Try different versions of your ads and pages to see which works best.

And "five leads, two of them were fake"... Remember, in very profitable areas, Google Ads often has fake clicks. Big companies have lots of money and big ad budgets. Some of their money goes to click farms that keep clicking on their competitors’ ads. These big companies sometimes use sneaky tricks to get a bigger share of customers.
That’s why I don’t use Google Ads as much now and focus more on getting visitors naturally through Google search. But I still run a few ads on Google Ads sometimes.
