I have been considering the option of hiring a top-rated seller on Fiverr to handle the management of a VPS server on my behalf. However, I am unsure about the potential risks involved in taking this approach. Since I lack the necessary skills to manage a VPS server myself, I am exploring alternative options to ensure its proper maintenance and operation.

I strongly advise against hiring a stranger from Fiverr.

I wouldn’t do it myself.

Have you considered using a managed server? Or is that too advanced for what you need?

Yes, it’s definitely risky, especially if you're handling payments and other sensitive things.

If it's a project you really care about, it's usually not a good idea.

If you don't know how to manage a VPS, you might not be able to tell if someone changes files or messes with things.

They could, in theory, do anything they want to your server.

I was thinking the same thing. Since I don’t have experience with VPS or servers, I wouldn’t trust someone from Fiverr either.

I think it's better to spend a little more on managed or cloud hosting, especially if your site(s) are making money. It gives you peace of mind.
