From December 30 to January 3, I ran ads for my Shopify stores. But when I came back after a week, I noticed that the results were much worse than before. Sadly, the poor performance has continued, even though I’ve tried changing my ads. After talking to some friends, I found out they’re having similar issues. It looks like Facebook ads aren’t working as well, with high costs and not many conversions. Does anyone know what might be going on? Has Facebook made any updates recently? Any help or advice would be really appreciated!

Try this, even if it sounds a bit odd. First, pause your campaign for 14 to 26 hours without making any changes. Then, start it again and let it run for another 24 to 48 hours without adjusting anything. During this time, just watch how the campaign performs for the next two days. If there's still no improvement, pause the campaign again and keep it paused. After that, set up a new campaign and keep an eye on how it does. In my experience, doing what’s in step #1 usually helps fix the problem.

Based on your post, the issue with the ad lies not in its content, but possibly due to the recent update in Facebook's policy. This update might impact your ads, prompting you to consider disabling active campaigns and either reopening or substituting the ad account, my friend.

Appreciate your response. I've already made the necessary changes to my account, but unfortunately, the results remain unchanged. I noticed the update, but it doesn't seem to provide any helpful information. Are you familiar with the details of this update?

Is the account or ad still under review, or has it already gone live with the new account? Are the daily budget and bids set correctly? For example, if you have 3 keywords in a campaign, each with a bid of $1.00, and the daily budget is $4, you won’t see much action in the campaign. The daily budget needs to be high enough to give the keywords enough room to "breathe" based on their bid amounts.

Has the account/ad been put under review, or is it already active in this new account? Are the daily budget and bids appropriately configured? For instance, if you have a campaign with three keywords, each bid at US$1.00, and a daily budget of US$5, there will be no progress in the campaign. The daily budget needs to allow enough room for the keywords to perform well, considering their person bids.
Since I started doing this, I’ve been making my ads in a certain way, and of course, I've been getting better over time. But now, it’s just strange. In one account, my CPM is $2, but there are no conversions. In another account, it's like $48, and I only have one conversion. I don’t know what changed with the update, but other people are saying their ads are doing badly too.
