Hey, I have some questions that I’m unsure about and was hoping someone could help me out. I know there’s a way to ship products from AliExpress to Amazon warehouses in the US for less, but I had an idea one night. What if you could do this without buying the products upfront? Instead, when you get a sale, you order the product and ship it directly to the customer’s address.
Do you think this could work? It wouldn’t need any money to start, since Amazon already gets tons of traffic, so you wouldn’t need to pay for ads to promote your products. Plus, Amazon only takes a small fee. If this works, it could totally change the dropshipping game. You could buy products for super cheap on AliExpress, sell them for a much higher price on Amazon, or even undercut other sellers to make your products look like a great deal.
If anyone has thoughts or solutions on this, please let me know. I just thought of it last week and haven’t tried it yet. If someone wants to discuss this more, we can chat privately. Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear your opinions!

Sometimes shipping takes way longer than you'd think. Like, your stuff might come super late, or not even show up at all. And even if it does, it could be really bad quality — not what you expected at all.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. But there are other places that sell stuff that’s made way better, and it only costs a tiny bit more. Plus, they send it faster too. You can even pick things that are meant to get somewhere way quicker. The plan just needs a few little changes, but with the right help and smart thinking, it could turn out super awesome.

Did you already try doing this?

Never mind. This kind of thing maybe worked back in 2018, but now it's almost 2025 — it’s super old and doesn’t really work anymore.

You should think about how longer shipping times from China will affect customer happiness. Most Amazon customers expect delivery in 1-2 days, so a 3-4 week wait could upset them and lead to bad reviews. Also, remember that according to Amazon rules, you have to be listed as the seller on the customs forms and all the paperwork that comes with the product.

Not a great idea. Amazon customers are really impatient. They don’t want to wait weeks for their items. Try Amazon FBA if you want to work with China and Amazon – that way, your products will arrive much faster.

This isn’t new. Some people became millionaires from this a few years ago. But if you try it now, you’ll probably lose your account pretty quickly. It’s not something that lasts.

The method worked before, but it won't work now.
