Twitter Cant verify phone number on X

I've had my X account since November 2022, and now that I have a good number of followers, I want to buy Premium+. However, when I try to verify my phone number, I get a pop-up message saying, "We cannot currently register this phone number." Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

I tried using US numbers, but I keep getting the same error message. I think the issue might be my location—I’m from the Balkans. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
