Hey everyone, is it just me, or does Facebook advertising feel off? Whenever I run ads, the traffic I get seems like bots- they visit the website, stay on the homepage for around 25–35 seconds, and then leave. It’s really strange. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Does all the traffic stay for exactly 30 seconds, or is 30 seconds just the average?

At this time of year, it's easy to get used to it because the marketing pros have already gathered all your customers. :p

On average, they don’t do much, but with Google Ads, at least some of them went through pages. I mean, not much luck, but they still did something.

Ahhh, that makes sense now, haha.

So maybe you're targeting the wrong audience? It seems like the FB audience just isn't interested in your content.

Honestly, I thought about that too, but then why would they click on the ad?

Maybe the ad seemed interesting to them, so they clicked, but then realized it wasn’t for them. In one of my campaigns, I got a lot of leads before realizing my ad wasn’t super clear, and those leads thought my client offered something different.

I’d suggest you double-check your audience and ad design. Make sure they are really relevant and crystal clear about what you’re offering. Otherwise, you’ll just waste your budget.

You can edit the campaign audience group again, maybe that audience group is less interested in you
