Hello MMO,
I'm taking a different approach; I currently work in Dubai and have always wanted to try Amazon FBA.
I've been researching it for a few years, even before coming to Dubai, but the main challenge has always been having enough capital. Now that I've saved up some money, I’m thinking about giving it a shot.
Here’s my issue: I live in Dubai, and you can’t do business here without a license or company. Setting up a company costs around $5,000, plus the same amount every year. I’m not thrilled about such a high startup cost.
However, I think it might be possible to set up an offshore company instead.
Has anyone here had experience setting up an offshore company for selling in the UAE?
The information I've found is all over the place, so I’d really appreciate advice from you guys (I’ve read some success stories here, so I’m hoping someone can help).
Estonia, the USA, and the UK seem to be common choices.
