Hey everyone, I just found MMO yesterday and I’m really amazed by how much info is here. I’ve recently decided to start with Amazon FBA / Amazon Wholesale and was wondering if anyone has some helpful tips for me. I just watched a 6-hour YouTube video and did a lot of research online, so I’m ready to get going. Feel free to share anything you think will help me. I live in Canada and am thinking of selling in the US. Thanks a lot!

Running an FBA business is pretty simple because Amazon handles most of the selling and managing part. So, I don’t think you need a lot of SEO, just make sure your product pages have good keywords and your ads are set up right. From what I’ve learned in online selling, picking a good supplier and checking product quality really matters. These days, sellers on Amazon are fighting hard to have the best prices.

Oh, and I almost missed this — you can also look for ways to boost visits to your product pages using social boost services from the marketplace section here on MMO.

Hey, appreciate the answer! I’m still trying to figure out the rules for running a business in Canada. Not sure yet, but I’m thinking of doing something like selling stuff online — maybe a store, dropshipping, or Amazon. I came across this super detailed post by someone who’s been doing dropshipping for a long time, and it really caught my attention. He talks about every little step!
If you're curious, here’s the post: MMO

Also, could you give me some advice? Since I’m just starting, should I try SEO, Facebook ads, TikTok, or maybe something else?

I haven’t done a lot of dropshipping myself, but if you’re selling on places like Amazon or eBay, it’s super important to play by their rules. For example, eBay only lets you dropship if you’re using real suppliers like factories or official sellers. They really don’t like it when people ship stuff from other shopping websites. If they catch you, they might shut down your account — and it happens pretty often. They can even tell where your package came from. Legally, the main stuff you’ll need to deal with is setting up your business and handling taxes. Also, I think it’s smart to look up the downsides of dropshipping so you know what problems to avoid.

One thing that’s helped me with search rankings is running ads right on Amazon — it pushes your product up in results.

Also, remember this: keeping buyers happy really matters, and it’s smart to always keep an eye on your numbers and stats.

Hey,

Getting started with Amazon wholesale is a smart move! Here are some tips that could help:

Find reliable suppliers: Look for suppliers you can trust who offer good prices and quality products. Building a strong relationship with them can make a big difference.
Understand the rules: Make sure you're clear on Amazon's wholesale policies. Staying in line with their rules is important to avoid any account issues.
Research the market: Use tools to find out what’s selling well and what’s not. Choosing products with high demand and low competition can give you an advantage.
Improve your listings: Make your product pages shine with great pictures and clear descriptions. Better listings = more sales.
Keep track of stock: Don’t let your inventory run low, but avoid overstocking too—it’s all about finding the right balance.

Always watch the profit margins. The biggest challenge with FBA is how much you make after Amazon takes its fee for fulfillment, and you still need to keep your prices competitive on the marketplace.
