Advice for Selling Amazon Wholesale

Hey everyone,

I just found MMO yesterday and I'm really impressed by all the great info here. I’ve decided to start with Amazon FBA and Amazon Wholesale, and I’m looking for any tips you might have. I just watched a 7-hour YouTube video and did a lot of research online, so I’m ready to get started!

I live in Canada and plan to sell in the US. Please feel free to share any advice or tips that you think would be helpful for me. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your response! I'm still figuring out the legal side in Canada, and I’m not sure what I’ll start yet, but it’s between eCommerce, dropshipping, or Amazon. I read a whole thread by Yaros (the dropshipping expert) and found it really interesting. He explains everything you need to do in detail.

Also, could you share your thoughts on eCommerce for a beginner like me? What do you recommend? Should I start with SEO, Facebook ads, TikTok, or something else?

I don’t have much experience with dropshipping, but for selling on marketplaces like Amazon or eBay, I recommend you follow their rules closely. For example, eBay only allows dropshipping from wholesalers, manufacturers, and distributors. They really don’t like dropshipping from other marketplaces. If you get caught, they’ll suspend your account, and this happens a lot. They can track where the package came from. From a legal perspective, you just need to focus on setting up your business and taxes. I also suggest you look into the downsides of dropshipping and things to be careful about.

My advice for SEO would be using Amazon PPC ads. They can help improve your product's ranking.

Another key point is that the customer is always right, and you should keep an eye on your metrics.
