Hi there,

I started a Facebook page about a month and a half ago, and I’ve been posting around 14–21 times every day to try to grow it on my own. I’m hoping it can get monetized in maybe 2–3 months. But getting new followers is super tough, because after all that work, I only have about 310 followers.

I saw some Fiverr people saying they can help you get Facebook monetization with about 9.9K followers (mostly from Asia) and more activity. Their gig costs around $155.

Do you think paying $155 is worth it? It doesn’t feel too expensive if it truly helps me get monetized, but I’m not sure if I can trust the Fiverr sellers.

If you know anything about this, I’d really like your advice.

Thanks!

I’d be really careful with those Fiverr offers. A lot of the time, the people who “follow” your page are fake or not very active, and they won’t really like or comment on your posts. Facebook can notice this, and it could even hurt your page later when you try to get monetized.

It’s usually better to grow your page the normal way or use small ads from Facebook itself. It might take more time, but the people who follow you will be real and will actually care about what you post. That helps way more in the long run.

Getting fake followers usually causes more problems later on. Facebook looks at how real people interact with your posts, not just how many followers you have.

What kind of posts are you sharing?
I once had a page in real estate that got approved to make money, even though I wasn’t trying to earn from it.

I don’t have a lot to say, but posts with only text don’t get much attention anymore.
You need to create something people trust if you want to get traffic.

First, make sure the followers are real people.

$155 may not sound like a lot, but if you’re only getting fake accounts, then you’re just throwing money away. Fake followers won’t boost your name or help you get real likes and comments.

If the followers are fake, with bots and no real likes or comments, then even $140 is way too much. There would be almost no real traffic or true interaction from real people.

You already have a nice start, so it would be smarter to spend a little money on small ads to bring in real users instead.

Do not buy followers from Fiverr. Spending $145 on real ads or making really good videos will help your page grow the right way and earn real money.

Fake followers can hurt how the app shows your posts and can also make your page look less trustworthy.

Paying for followers is not safe. Most of them are not real people. They can lower how many people see your posts and may even cause your page to lose money fast.

Why not spend about $155 on ads to share your content and get more real followers and likes?

To be honest, I’d be a bit careful. Those jobs often use low-quality or random location traffic just to boost the numbers. You might get monetized quickly, but your reach can drop later and there’s some risk too. If you keep growing the page with organic posts and try different reels, your growth will be safer and more real. Even $140 can be lost fast if the page gets flagged.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I decided not to use Fiverr.

Last month I tried running Facebook ads and spent about $190. From that, I got around 290 followers. Is that normal?

What is the usual ROI when it comes to getting followers from Facebook ads?

Posting too many times in one day can feel like spam and might slow down your follower growth. If you spend about $155 and it helps you start earning money faster, then it could be worth thinking about.
