A lot of clips come from older videos, movies, and recordings made between 2008 and 2023. It feels like people keep taking old content and posting new versions of it over and over.

From what I can tell, TikTok cares more about whether people keep watching, leave comments, or send the video to others than whether the idea is completely original.
