Do faceless YouTube channels still work today, or are they kind of fading out now?

Before, it was easy to see lots of active journeys about faceless YouTube channels. Now, those posts are much harder to find. Does this mean faceless YouTube channels are no longer working?

I think yes. These days, people like channels that feel more real and personal so they can connect better. Also, because of AI tools, creators are trying to make sure YouTube doesn’t see their channels as fake or low-effort.

When I watch a YouTube video and there’s no real person on the screen, I usually click away pretty fast. I think people like seeing and hearing a real human, not just an AI voice talking to them.

I wouldn’t say faceless YouTube channels are gone, but things have changed a lot. The big hype around them has cooled off a little, but some channels are still doing well this way. Now there is more competition, and the way to make them work is different than before.

People seem to focus more on small, specific topics, posting often, and using tools to help with the work. If you’re thinking about starting one, you can still do it, but it takes more creative ideas and smarter promotion than it did in the past.

I still watch a bunch of cat videos and funny cat voice clips almost every night.

I don’t think they are gone. I just think people may not be posting or recording them as much anymore.

Yes, that’s right. Some animal topics are still getting bigger and stronger. Even YouTube doesn’t really have a clear answer for why that is.

I noticed some YouTube channels that compare tech products using data and simple charts, and they get a lot of likes and views. Some videos have around 900 or even 1.2K likes. There are also people who make short AI videos that are funny, and many viewers enjoy them.

So you don’t have to show your face to get views. If the content is interesting or fun, people will still watch it.
