I’ve been getting more into computer stuff lately, and I’m wondering what kinds of coding tools people are using these days. Things change so fast that it’s tough to know what’s really worth learning for the long run, especially in 2026.

For folks who code a lot:

What computer languages help you the most right now?

Do you spend more time on the front part of a website, the back part, little scripts, or something else?

Are there any tools or frameworks that you think more people should pay attention to?

And how much do you use AI to help you work faster?

I’m not trying to advertise anything. I just want to understand what other programmers are choosing and what makes those choices helpful.

It looks like the most helpful thing to learn these days is coding languages that can do lots of different jobs—like making websites, running small scripts, and automating tasks. A lot of people also use AI now to speed things up and cut out boring repeat work, and it seems to make things quicker by about 7% or so.
