Is it possible to sell to people through DMs on Facebook? I feel like it might be too pushy, and most people wouldn’t be interested. They’d probably think it’s a scam, right?

I want to try it, but it feels like it would take a lot of effort for not much result. Plus, I tried messaging a lot of people, and Facebook limits your messages after about 40 DMs.
