LB What is your preferred type of purchased backlinks? PBNs, Guest Posts, Niche Edits, or None?

How much do you invest in creating a Private Blog Network (PBN)?

I spend less than $200 for each website. I don’t pay for content because I have ways to make a lot of filler content for free. Most of the money goes toward buying the domain name.

Newspapers, .edu sites, and some .gov sites work well for my topics, especially the official ones.

That’s a good way to save money. How many domains do you usually keep in one network? And do you link to just one website in each network?

I have the same question! I already started with 11 domains in my private blog network and am working on creating content. It’s new, but I’m wondering—how many good domains do I need to rank for tough keywords in a non-English language?

I keep a maximum of 40 domains in one network. I avoid high-cost domains and focus on getting each one with a unique set of referring domains (RDs), which works better than a few domains with lots of RDs (except for a few special cases). Staying within this budget lets me save for a few quality guest posts or niche edits.

Sometimes, the PBN alone isn’t enough to reach the top 5 or 10 spots.

Most of the sites I link to are low-competition micro-niche sites, autoblogs, or local business sites. Plus, since I use these for client projects, part of the cost is covered by them too.

Can’t those sites rank just by using niche edits and guest posts?

And what do you think about HARO? Have you tried it?
