Why is no one creating a service for phone automation for instagram on android?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to get your thoughts on something. Do you think it's too hard to create an app or service that can automate actions like follow/unfollow or watching stories directly on your phone?

I've seen a service like this before, and it worked well, but it was really expensive and tricky to set up. Plus, there's nothing like it available in the marketplace.

I believe this could be the future of Instagram automation. I've tried a trial version, and I didn't experience any blocks. It operates by mimicking human touch/swipe actions on the Instagram app on an Android phone.

With all the blocks and verifications happening lately, and platforms like Jarvee shut down, even tho susocial is replaced, phone automation seems like the next big thing. I'm sure there are plenty of talented coders here who could create a solution like this and sell it. What do you think?

It's helpful and worth your time. Anyone telling you it's not clearly doesn't understand business. However, it can be tough to begin if you don't have a budget.

App - The coding process becomes highly intricate unless you're prepared to allocate a minimum of $50,000 for development.

Service - There are existing services offering similar functionalities for as low as $20 or $25 per account, and even cheaper rates for bulk orders at $15. However, the challenge with phone automation services for agencies, or those looking to offload management, lies in the use of smartphones (i.e., a phone automation provider renting their phones and servers to a customer).

For instance, if an individual like yourself approaches us, requesting 45 accounts for activities like Follow/Unfollow/Like, and pays $10 per account for the first month, the breakdown would be as follows:

  • 45 accounts x $10 = $450
  • Cost for 7 phones = approximately $800
  • Cost for 7 SIM cards = $70
So, you, as the client, would need at least two months to break even, and there's no guarantee of profitability. It's not as straightforward as Jarvee, with its plug-and-play approach; it involves testing proxies and more.

While I've contemplated the idea of renting phones and servers to others, serious users running 30-40 accounts generally prefer setting up their own phone automation systems. With a modest initial investment in smartphones and an affordable PC, the recurring cost boils down to just SIM cards.

Thanks for the response!

I'm from India, and I can get a smartphone for $9, and a monthly 4G SIM card costs $5 for 2GB per day, so your prices don’t really apply to what we can afford here.

Exactly. Your return on investment is even 4 times higher. Now, be successful and start automating phones...

Can you tell me what type of coder I would need for this?

I have some coder friends here, so I’ll talk to them about it. But can you let me know what specific skills they should have, since I know there are lots of different areas in coding?

I’ve done it before with OCR (character recognition AI), and it’s about medium difficulty if you know how to code.

It’s easy to do things like follow/unfollow, send DMs, and the limits are much higher than on a browser. But it can be tough to set up a really complex series of actions (like finding someone using a certain hashtag, liking the 10th post, commenting, then following, and DMing). Basically, if anything goes wrong or something unexpected happens, the bot has to start all over from the beginning.

I’ve done phone automation for Instagram. It’s not that hard, honestly. I just haven’t made any profit from it like I did with my Instagram bot on desktops from 2019 to 2021, so I haven't felt the need to build anything recently.

Really, what you're asking for is super easy to design. I’ve never been into the Follow/Unfollow stuff, so I never bothered building anything like that. My focus was on Fast Top Comment Bots for Instagram, and I still don’t know why they stopped working. I can't figure out if it was the browser or the frequent requests I was sending to Instagram.

I wanted to give an update on this. This conversation, along with a few others, got me interested in making Instagram bots again. Phone automation definitely works and is probably the best option now for automating Instagram. I predicted this a year ago when the new Instagram CEO did an interview and basically said they can't tell the difference between phone automation and normal use. The only thing they track really well is your behavior on the app. For example, if I DM 90 people in 10 seconds, that's a major red flag.

I’ve been working on redeveloping a bot the past few days, and so far, there haven’t been any issues. Sadly, the old top comment glitch on Instagram is no longer working.

There's already a service like this that lets you like, follow, and do other things on Instagram using your phone. However, it's a Russian service, so you’ll need a translator to use it.

If anyone is interested, I’m willing to fund this. I need a simple bot made for Android or iOS that can handle basic tasks like following/unfollowing, auto-posting, and auto-replying.

India is very affordable, so there must be a lot of demand to create this kind of app. But right now, there’s not much demand since most programs are run on computers. We might be able to do something like this in the future.
