Where Do the Best Clicks Come From in Affiliate Marketing?

I’m trying to grow my affiliate projects and want to figure out which places online bring the best results.

Where do you think the most helpful clicks come from? I’ve heard about search pages, ads you pay for, and apps like TokTik and Insta — but which ones actually lead to more people buying?

Also, what about things like:

Ads that look like news (I think they’re called “native”?)

Sending stuff to people’s inboxes

Those pop-up messages on phones and computers

Are any of those still working well in 2025?

Would really like to know what’s been working best for others who’ve been doing this a while. Thanks!

If you’ve got your own website or fun pages on apps like Insta or TokTik, it makes things a lot easier. But you still have to be smart about what you share — like, don’t try to show skateboards to people who just want baking recipes!

Paying for ads can also work really well, but only if you really know what you’re doing. If not, it’s easy to waste your money fast.

I don’t know a whole lot about this yet, but it seems like using ads and posting on apps like TokTik or Insta can help get more people to click and maybe buy.

Still, using search engines (like when people Google stuff) is probably one of the smartest ways to get more visitors for affiliate stuff.

Talking with people on websites made just for certain topics or places can sometimes bring in more visitors than showing up on search pages. Lots of folks who really care about a subject like to hang out on those sites instead of looking things up on Google. Just like we’re chatting here — I’m guessing you didn’t even ask Google first!

If you’ve got some money to spend, try ads on apps like Insta or TokTik. They usually cost less and can show your stuff to just the right people better than search engine ads.
