Thinking about making an app for phones?

Is anyone who’s done well with phone apps able to give some advice?

If someone doesn’t know how to code, how much money would they need to hire a person to build an app? And about how long does it usually take?

Where can you even find someone to make it? Is a site like Upwork okay? What happens if the worker quits in the middle? Or what if they finish the app, you start earning money from it, and then they suddenly stop helping? If you don’t know how to code, you can’t fix problems or update the app. Then people might get upset when it stops working and stop paying. I don’t know how to code at all, so this is something that makes me nervous about trying to make an app.

I’ve noticed some apps say they make a lot of money. Does anyone know how much they really keep after paying for things like ads, workers who fix the app, payment fees, and other costs?

Also, which one is easier and can earn more in the long run—making a SaaS product or building a phone app?

Apps can make good money if you find the right group of people, but paying to build one and taking care of it isn’t cheap. A simple app might cost around $3–6k from builders in other countries, and about $11k or more from developers in places like the U.S. It can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months to finish. Sites like Upwork and Freelancer can work, but there’s still a chance the developer stops answering you, so an agency or keeping the code in your own account is safer.

How much money you keep depends on things like ad costs and how many users stay. Lots of apps only break even unless they get super popular. SaaS usually takes longer to build, but people stick around more and the profits can be better if it solves a real problem. Phone apps can bring faster money, while SaaS is more steady over time.

I used a no-code tool once and built a basic app in about 3 weeks, but when I tried to grow it, everything got really hard without a developer to help.

You really have a couple of paths you can take.

One way is to build one large app, like a game, and spend a lot of money trying to grow it.
The other way is to create lots of small apps that only do one or two simple things.

Making small apps is usually easier. You don’t need huge business skills, and they’re simpler to manage.

Yeah, the hard part for me is that I don’t know how to code, so I’m not sure if I can trust someone else to keep the app running and updated.

First, you should figure out what kind of app you want to make. Then look around to see if people in that market are willing to spend money on it.

If the idea is easy, you can use app builders that let you drag and drop blocks instead of writing real code. You can also build things with ChatGPT, but you still need to know a little about how coding languages work.

well you need to find a lot of ppl who will help you with that, app builders arent working good all the time, plus you have to, and i mean you HAVE to work on digital marketing, like i was working in Best SEO Agency Melbourne and we were helping guys like you
