Having mastered the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JS, I'm eager to advance to an expert level. Can anyone suggest resources here to help me achieve this goal by the end of the year?

Is there something particular you'd like to accomplish?

Are you just focusing on the front end, or do you want to create full-stack apps?

You could start learning React next. Angular or Vue could also be great options.

It’s a good idea to get familiar with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.

If you're into backend or full-stack development, try Node or PHP. Node is a good choice if you want to stick with JavaScript.

And make sure to work on as many projects as possible, whether they’re freelance or personal.

React is in demand for jobs, but I enjoy using VueJS. There's also Svelte. Make sure to weigh the pros and cons before you jump in. It’s better to get really good at one before switching between them.

Vue.js or Nuxt.js is a great pick (start with Vue, then move to Nuxt) for frontend work. While learning JavaScript, you can use Node.js.

Try creating a simple ToDo app with Node and Vue, storing your tasks in a database like MongoDB. After that, you can move on to more complicated projects.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I’ve decided to go with React JS because I want to stick with JavaScript and get really good at it. But I’m also interested in building mobile apps, not just focusing on frontend.

I’ve heard that Bootstrap and jQuery are a bit outdated, so I’ll stick with JavaScript and its libraries. I’ll work on mastering CSS as I go. Thanks again!

Can I start with just the basics of JavaScript and jump into ReactJS?
