I’m sharing the results from my YouTube channel after almost 5 months.

My channel features documentary videos about wild animals, using AI voice or text on screen. I started by uploading regular videos, but for the last 2 months, I’ve also been uploading Shorts.

In the last 28 days, my RPM for regular videos is 0.43€, and for Shorts, it’s 0.05€.

I’m getting around 7k-17k views every day.

I’m not sure if these results are good or not.

So far, from March 2024 to July 2024 (since joining the YouTube Partner Program), I’ve gotten:

  • 6.3k watch hours
  • +1,000 subscribers
  • 248.50€ in earnings
I’d love any suggestions on how to improve my channel!

P.S. I’ll update again next month.

It would be cool to hear about your future plans. What do you hope for the channel, and how do you plan to make money from it?

That’s great, I’m excited to see your results too. Good luck!

It's already making money. I joined the YPP around 4 or 6 months ago.

My goal is to make money (like everyone who starts on YouTube). I want to make at least $26-$32 a day this year and grow it every year, but it looks pretty tough with the current RPM and views.

Your views are great, and our watch hours are normal, but your subscriber count is a bit low. I think the most important thing is the views, and you’ve got that part down!

Are you saying the channel started 5 months ago, or was it monetized 5 months ago? I’m thinking you’re talking about starting it fresh 5 months ago.

Sell that channel, get some funds, and use top tools to make even better videos so you can grow new channels quicker.

Why should he sell it? The channel is doing fine.

As far as I know, there’s no "tool" that can make "better videos" than ones edited by people that will outrank them.

What AI are you using to create your videos?

I’m just using the AI voice on https://voiceovermaker.io.

It started making money 6 months ago. My channel has been around for over 7 years.

What do you mean by that? Could you explain it a bit more, please?

Your channel is already showing great potential—congrats on the views! One way to really improve your videos is by switching from AI voiceovers to human voices. YouTube doesn't always see AI voiceovers as high quality, and viewers generally prefer listening to a real person, which could help your retention rates.

You might want to check out the marketplace and consult with cashcow teams or SMM panels that offer advice. They can do a great job of auditing your channel and helping you improve with their experience.

Good luck!

Your channel growth is awesome! To improve your RPM, try creating catchy titles, descriptions, and thumbnails. Experiment with different types of shorts to attract more views. Make your content even more exciting by working on the voiceover. You're doing great—keep trying new things to make your content amazing!
