Hey hey!
I was wondering how you first got started on YouTube. Did you make a “Hi, this is me!” video in the beginning? Like, explaining who you are and what kinds of stuff you'd post?
Right now, I’ve got a Nikon camera (it’s the kind with a mic you can take off and it has a fuzzy cover for wind). I also have a MacBook and a big circle light. Do you think that’s enough gear to start making videos?
I’m thinking about making a few different channels:
One like a podcast, where I just talk about stuff happening in the world, the internet, and social media — kinda like Penquiz0 or PewDiePie. I’ve got a lot on my mind and want to share it
One for cooking! I’m not a fancy chef or anything, but I want to try making fun food and share what I think about it.
And one for anime. I’d talk about episodes, review shows, say what I liked or didn’t like. One time I left a comment on a video about Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry and shared my thoughts on where the story should go. It got tons of likes (I think over 3,000?) and a bunch of people said they loved my take and wanted to hear more. That was a while back though!
If you’ve got any tips, I’d really appreciate them.
Thanks a bunch for reading, and sorry if my English isn’t perfect.
P.S. I’d be making the videos in English when I start!
